I love this kokum butter. It has an earthy smell. I used it to make body butter and soaps

No complaints it's a quality product.

Sometimes an emergency Amazon order turns out to be a blessing. I've been using Kokum butter in my body butter for 9 years. I was considering removing it from my recipe, then I got it from Etherva. Now I'm considering increasing the amount I add to my butter. This is absolutely the best most natural Kokum butter I've used. Glad I got the 11 lb box. Hope it's available when I need it again.

I make my own goat milk soaps and kokum butter is an oil I haven't worked with before - it's supposed to help make a good hard (rather than soft and melty" in water) bar. This comes in a brick of butter.

Nice raw kokum butter. Used in cp soap.

I can’t say enough about this butter first off it’s packaged and shipped with care and it is the highest quality and makes great body butter and is a great additive for hot processed soaps

Awesome butter. Smell was a bit pungent initially, but excellent product once used in body butter recipe.

Packaging is wonderful. I love that this is raw and unbleached, so much Kokum out there is altered even when it says raw. Thank you!

This product was sealed & packaged well. I've tried other brands, but the quality surpasses other brands. Once melted, it applies smoothly and provides long-lasting moisture to my skin. The oiliness absorbs quickly. There is an organic nutty" smell; but smells different - it has sort of a funky nutty smell. I'm still experimenting with it.

Very good quality, reached me in perfect condition and time

Really good packaging, its my third time buying kokum butter from Keynote. Even though i have not opened the package yet based on my past two experience i believe the product will be excellent. This time i also ordered lemon butter to try out. I hope it helps with my dry skin!

Before I bought this I had never heard of Kokum before, and now I’m wondering how hasn’t everyone. It’s double packaged and vacuum sealed to keep its quality in tact which I really liked. Was easy enough to cut through though it did crumble some which was even better in my opinion. Loved that it was cheaper than cocoa butter because in my view and my research cocoa butter is a bit overrated it’s more of a fragrance thing I guess. But using this in my lotions I’ve made so far, I’ve never felt such silky smoothness on my skin before, and it makes your whole body feel completely hydrated and rejuvenated will definitely be using this as a regular staple in all cosmetics and care supplies from now on.

I melt this butter over a double boiler with a couple of other butters to make my body cream. It melts and whips like a dream. It does have a faint odor of something like coffee but it’s easily masked with essential oil or it will dissipate if you don’t want to use oils. It comes in a dense block that’s easy to cut off chunks if you don’t plan to use it all at once. Plus it is a great moisturizer. Definitely recommend.

This is a great product! This is high quality and the packaging was very professional. Will be ordering again!

I feel this kokum butter is great. This is ultra-moisturizing and absorbs much quicker than shea. The current price of $29.99 for 2.2 pounds is competitively priced. Just remember when purchasing this that this is like a stone block and it either has to be melted on one's one skin by scraping some off the block or used in a body butter or lotion recipe. It is not totally scentless and has a slight aroma that I do not find offensive and which does not remain behind after applying it to my skin.

This company cares! The package was nicely airtight shut! It looks so beautiful. I can’t wait to make soap and body butter out of it! Thank you so much.

High quality stuff... just different from what you might be used to.It does have a smell and another reviewer was spot-on with the raw potato" scent. That captures it perfectly. So but not easily. For blends in moisture bars or balms
Debbie
I use this product to make lotion, and it works so great. It is a great value for the money.I will definitely buy from this manufacturer again.
Sarah
I've used this in a few soaps now. I've only used it in small quantities, but it's played nicely in my recipes. The scent does make picking a fragrance a bit more tricky, but I've found a few stronger oils that compliment it nicely. It was packaged nicely, and was easy to work with.
Kris
I use in my soap and exfoliants. Works great and easy to use.

Quality in all areas is job one for this company.Excellent packaging.Clean branding.Confidence in the safety of this product simply from the way it is presented. No concern regarding possible contamination due to exposure from poor packaging.

Great butter. I will order more.

Great product. Kokum butter solidifies. You need to melt it to use it. Raw and very nourishing for the skin. Highly recommended!
Truth Be Told
I've never worked with kokum butter before but I wanted to try it in my homemade moisturizer. I've used cocoa and shea before. This feels really nice and leaves the skin feeling great. A small piece can be melted just with body heat pressed in the palms of your hand. It does smell kinda funky. I've been playing with scents to try and mask it with no luck yet. It's kind of a dirt smell like the smell when you're gardening with natural soil.My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. Nice product. Easy to work with and the quality is excellent.

This kokum butter smells natural and unrefined and has just a hint of an aroma but is not smelly like unrefined shea butter. It comes in two 1.1 lb. hard blocks. This can be used as a skin moisturizer as is" or as a base for body butters and lotions. I use it "as is." I use a knife or cheese grater to scrape the surface and then massage it in the palm of my hand until it "melts" so that I can apply it to where I want it on my skin.Kokum butter comes from the seeds of the kokum tree that is native to India.

The ETHERVA Kokum Butter comes sealed and wrapped.A fairly consistent light beige color and has an earthy scent.Shaved a little off, hold and massage in my palm to warm it for a little while, it softens into a moisturizing balm/oil.It feels like a good natural versatile moisturizer, that can be used from head to toe. This is a good big block that will last for a while. Going to cut and place a small piece by the counter to moisturize the hand after dishwashing. With smaller pieces can experiment with different essential oils to customize the moisturizer scent.

You get a giant block of this! Enough to make tons of product. I like that this is clean and natural. Super moisturizing.

Scent is slightly odd, earthy or nutty but not great. I've tried to cover the scent but it is still there. The product melts easily when you hold it. I am still learning what I can do with but so far I don't think I will like the scent.

Pros:Very high-quality Kokum butterNice packagingI like the mild unique scent.Cons:Cannot think of any !!

This is a great natural moisturizer- Similar in many ways to coco butter. It can be used in it's natural state- It is VERY hard and crumbly but softens and begins to melt at body temperature. Its moisturizing ability is amazing. The isn't bad- Nothing offensive- But you're probably going to want to use this as a base and mix it with some oils or something to kind of mask it a bit, unless you want to go around smelling earthy".This is a HUGE block of it- Great for producing large amounts of skin creams!"

Two big blocks of Organic Lovely! This is my first experience with Raw Kokum Butter and I have enjoyed learning about it and experiencing it first-hand. It comes very well packaged and the actual blocks of butter are vacuum sealed in heavy plastic inside a protective cardboard box. I’ve opened one and it definitely feels and looks raw and unrefined. The block is very solid, but I was able to scrape some off and liquify it with the warmth of my hands. It has a lovely rich feel, thicker than cocoa butter and and it moisturized my hands very well. I like the subtle nutty aroma.I will find ways to use this, as it feels so good on my skin and absorbs and moisturizes beautifully. I see the potential here to create my own spa quality, all-natural skin care products for my own use and for gift-giving. Highest quality Organic and unrefined, Excellent value, I highly recommend

This is a review of ETHERVA Kokum Butter | Wild Grown Unrefined Raw | Unbleached | Non-Deodorized | Non-Neutralized | All Natural Silviculture | Soap Making | DIY Moisturizer for Skin, Body & Hair | / 11 lb
I had never heard of kokum butter, but I’ve been trying to expand the ingredients I use in my soap making. This product is described as “unrefined,” so I was expecting twigs and branches in it. But other than the brownish color, this doesn’t seem so unrefined. So far, there have been no impurities, though it is a big block so I might still find some. This kokum took a bit longer to melt than I expected, but it melted easily, creating an amber-color liquid with a light, slightly nutty aroma. As I work to fine-tune moe involved recipes with it, I’ve been mixing the kokum with a little oil (grapeseed or almond) to create a really nice lip moisturizer. This is a good product.

Got this for my cold process soap making. I heard of the properties of Kokomo butter and wanted to give it a try. Ran it over soap calculator and it gives nice properties to soap bars. It is like tan in color with no smells. Didn’t affect the coloring of my batch, blended well with other oils and has no smell. Only con I had… it was tricky to cut. Other than that I would recommend it because of price and quality.

I think people are more familiar with coca and Shea butters than kokum butter. While all are used in skin care products, kokum butter does not clog the pores of the skin. It’s known as a good emollient and absorbs into the skin rather quickly.I found it to have little scent and is a very dense product compared to coca or Shea butter. Kokum butter is solid but when warmed, will melt. I took the back of my fingernail, dragged it across the surface of the kokum and pealed back a thin sliver. This will then melt from your body temperature in the palm of your hand. It’s much like coconut oil in that respect. It’s not heavy or greasy. It does absorb quickly into the skin and can be used alone or with other ingredients of your choosing. You do get a lot and it’s said to be very stable so it’ll keep. It’s rich in anti-oxidants and won’t leave your skin feeling weighted down. I found it good to use on the hands or on the face after shaving. It doesn’t take much.

I really love Kokum butter and use many of the other types of butters. It is lighter and less greasy for making my salves and balms. I love the unrefined nature of the raw butter. I love that it really doesn’t have any scent so doesn’t interfere with the end product scent like I get with coconut or cocoa butter. I especially love mixing it with Mango butter and Tamanu oil for a wonderful soothing skin salve.

This is a big block that lasts a long time. It melts well and blends easily with other nourishing oils. It has a pleasant, mild nutty scent. If you like the feel and scent of cocoa butter, you will like this Kokum butter! Have fun experimenting and making DIY skin butter and oil concoctions!!

I have never experienced Kokum butter previously but wanted to make some of my own skin care products so I decided to give this a try. After reading how easily it melted at body temperature, I was surprised that it is pretty crumbly and it takes a little bit of time to melt, so I will experiment with melting it and combining with other oils to achieve the consistency I want. The scent or raw kokum butter has been described as nutty or earthy but to me it smells exactly like raw potatoes. Not an offensive smell, but also not one I want to rub on my skin. I think rosemary and lemon oils might be good compliments for improving the fragrance. The block is massive and so far I have not come across any obvious impurities. As a moisturizer, it really is amazing. It leaves skin silky soft with zero oily residue.

Hello friends, I selected this raw kokum butter that is unrefined, unscented, and unbleached for DIY beauty products.I received two very large heavy boxes of Kokum butter. It has a nutty kind of scent to it and melt slowly with contact on skin. It smells nice but is nearly unscented. I'm using it as a moisturizing lip balm with peppermint in reusable lip balm pots.
Christina Paul
I confess, this is the first time I have ever tried raw kokum butter. It is mostly unscented, so it doesn't interfere with the essential oils that I might add. I recently used it in place of cocoa butter in a moisturizing salve with frankincense and myrrh that I made for my elbows and knees and love the feel of it. I am super excited to put together more recipes using kokum butter to explore all of the options.Compared to other natural nut butters I get from my local natural foods cooperative, for just under $30, it ends up being a very good value.
Nancy
It's the first time I'm getting this! Never heard of kokum butter before, but after reading the effects, I decided to give it a try. The butter came nicely wrapped in a box about shoe-box size, and VERY heavy, just like a rock (okay, maybe not that heavy as a rock). It has some impurity inside, and I just heat till it melt, and filter out the impurities, and just put in room temperature to cool it down till it's solid again. Then it can be used as body butter after shower. It's a little oily though, but very natural.

So far so good! I added this to my homemade lotions and it is working out pretty well! The lotion feels nice and hydrating and sinks into the skin just the same. This is a LOT and will easily last me for a full year, all five members of my family use the homemade lotion and it will still last us a year!Overall, it is working out well. I will update if anything changes!

What I like about this butter is it exactly what it is it was packaged in double packaging and its quality

The product melts easily. Infused oils mix well into it. It makes a nice thick sad.

Having now ordered a number of molds so that I can make lotion bars with this 11lb chunk of raw kokum, I have begun to mix melted kokum with other ingredients and experiment. It is a lot of fun! What I have not been able to do is to get the “fragrance” out of the raw kokum, even with heat, whipping, straining, and the use of essential oils of all sorts. The more I use other products such as coconut and cocoa butters and avocado and almond oil, the more I can lessen the smell, but it never goes entirely away. If I liked the pungent aroma of kokum better, I would like the end product better. Some perceive it as “nutty” while I think of it as smelling like wet, dank dirt.Scent aside, this raw kokum is an interesting product. It takes very little heat to make it melt. I put the entire large block in an old electric skillet turned on low and wait for a short time while whatever end of the block that is touching the skillet bottom turns to oil. I then remove the block and put it back into its storage bag when I have the amount of warm oil that I think I need. Kokum melts at 98-104 degrees. You don’t want to heat it beyond this or it browns. The oil stays in this state for some time. To get it to solidify again I put the poured molds in the refrigerator or freezer. If you whip it, warm kokum oil turns a lighter color even if when it does not have any added ingredients. It can easily be made into a butter by adding other oils through this whipping process.Though raw, there are very few impurities in this 11-pound block. I have found only three very tiny little pieces of stick in the third of it I have used after straining it through cheesecloth while pouring the melted oil into molds. The moisturizing qualities of this product are remarkable. Compared to the various lotions and creams on the market, this single ingredient kokum is a straightforward, effective way to moisturize skin. I only wish that there was an easy way to make it smell more universally appealing.

I love how this Kokum butter was packaged! It was packaged so well and tight and didn’t have to worry about anything! This didn’t have a strong smell and it was absolutely amazing in my body butter!!

I didn't know what to expect from this. I had no experience with kokum butter. After using this, I wonder why I had never heard of it. I planned to use this mainly in soaps, but I have found that it has many uses. It can be added to all skin care products. I have sensitive skin and it has no negative effects on me. It softens my skin without leaving a greasy feeling or residue. I haven't used this in my hair, but I look forward to it. I like that it can be used alone. It gave me the opportunity to experience kokum butter alone with no additives. I think that makes it very good for people who have allergies and cannot accept a lot additives. I previously used extra virgin coconut oil for my personal care products and although this is not as easy to use, I find it to be less heavy and greasy. There are many recipes that describe how it can be used on the internet. It is definitely worth buying.

I love the scent of this! It has a nutty scent that is delicious smelling. You get so much for the price, so it is well worth it. I'll be able to make so many household soaps with this!

This was a lot bigger than I thought I was pleasantly surprised when I received my two boxes. Definitely recommend!

Nice, unrefined kokum butter. The butter is much harder than say shea butter. It is more crumbly. I like melting this down to get it to be one solid texture. I also like adding coconut oil to the melting process which makes the butter softer. Once it cools down I apply this anywhere that might be dry on my skin ex: arms, legs, face etc. I can apply this kokum butter on my face and since it is non comedogenic, it does not clog my pores or cause me to break out. I haven't added this to my hair yet but I do want to see a hair recipe that I can use. This kokum butter is really nice, a little price but I enjoy using it.
Simon
Simple, authentic way to moisturize skin. I love the educational video of how it is made. Nothing added, it smells earthy and nutty. It feels amazing as I apply to my foot, or anywhere dry on my skin. Two heavy, hearty blocks that serves also as an artistic block on my furniture.

Theres not as many impurities as the listing made me believe. I warmed it up and put it through a mesh filter and didnt get a lot of stuff. I only used like a few ounces tho so far. Feels great rubbed straight into my skin too

This is a ginormous block of kokum butter. I am using this to make different kinds of soaps. I cut off chunks and melt and put into new forms. It is clean enough to not have to strain. It melts well and will make a lot of soap.

This is our first experience with kokum butter but we’re pumped it is such a versatile product to make lotion and such. This comes with two big blocks that are well packaged and are good quality. Just figure out what recipe you want to use and get going making your own skin care products !

This is not food butter. I thought it was and was promptly disappointed. The butter seems nice quality and good, but I remove 1 star because the instructions and recommendations for use are super vague. I think more specifics about the product would be good, and also saying that this is not food butter.
Dragonfly7
Oh my!! This is a huge block of kokum butter! Everyone will be getting homemade soaps and balms for the holidays !The butter is better quality than expected. I am an amateur at making soap and balms, so I was a bit intimidated by the description stating that is was for more experienced or commercial types. I was expecting it to need straining as well, but when I softened some up I did not notice any bits. It has an earthy smell, it not bad but just earthy. I will be adding some essential oils for fragrance when making soap.Although, the price may seem high at first, this is actual a bargain for how much you get.
Tommy
I was surprised at how large this slab of kokum butter is. This has been great to try some new DIY personal care product recipes with. I have not used this ingredient before and found this to be a good option. I have had no problems with the performance of the kokum butter.
klainthabmore
This is a nice pack of solid kokum butter blocks. The natural scent is neutral, for me, as I don't find it unappealing or unpleasant. These blocks arrived inside of individual cardboard boxes and they were double vacuum sealed (super nice for shipping and long term storage purposes). I did some exploring online including on their business pages and found some recipes and ways to use this kokum butter (I've never used it before). I'm looking forward to using this ingredient in some simple homemade creams especially since it's unrefined/raw (not neutralized, bleached or deodorized). I easily scraped some of the block into my hand, warmed it with my body heat and rubbed it into my skin to try it out. It's smooth without a gritty texture so far and felt moisturizing and comfortable (not greasy or sticky). Overall, I'm glad I decided to give it a try, look forward to trying it out in different skin care recipes (especially with colder months ahead), and definitely recommend this product.
ChristineMM
I am using this kokum butter in as an ingredient in handmade lotion bars and cold process soap. It is high quality and has the typical nutty natural scent. I am happy with this kokum butter.
Deep in Thought
The butter is crumbly so I kept it contained within its plastic bag while cutting off the necessary amount. It melted easily in a double boiler.I tried the Kokum butter in two applications, first as a Bath Body Wash and second as a Hair conditioner. As a body wash I was hoping that the addition of some essential oils would ameliorate the earthiness of the Kokum butter scent. Perhaps I didn't add enough, and some might enjoy the scent, but for me it was a little too earthy. Fortunately the scent did not linger very long and with some alterations to my recipe I think this will make for a pleasantly moisturizing body wash.As a hair conditioner, melted and mixed with coconut oil, it worked well, my hair was smoother and less frizzy.

Just how much of this stuff can here would be. The box was big and heavy! This is good stuff. It says it has inclusions but I didn’t see much. It smells good and feels richer than coco butter. I like it a lot. And it comes packaged like 3 times - two are vacuum sealed and shrink wrapped. It took forever to open.
HappyFrugalShopper
This kokom butter I found was absolutely amazing for my DIY projects. It does have a nutty smell though so I would not get this and assume it has no smell at all personally I'm making DIY kokom butter mixed with shea butter and a few other ingredients to make presents. I made a quick batch of this and mixed it with some lavender essential oil and wow oh wow I mean it really leaves your skin feeling like silk my mom came over and tried some and fell in love so I've already made her a batch this stuff is amazing you can use it for your skin face nails hair whatever so literally this thing can do it all I do highly suggest mixing with essential oil though unless you want to smell like a nutty butter LOL highly recommend it's way better than shea butter alone and less oily!

Okay, so at 1st I thought this was cocoa butter but realized it wasn’t once it came in. Which in my opinion is better than cocoa butter. The only thing is that it doesn’t have that cocoa butter scent that I love. The scent is barley noticeable. Almost nutty but not too noticeable. The best way I can explain it. Sorry. It says it’s 11 lbs. I didn’t actually weigh it but I believe that it is 11 lbs. it’s quite heavy and it’s a huge solid brown chunk. This is perfect for making soaps or body butters and I’ve read that it’s best for making facial products because it doesn’t clog pores. Me and my husband are newbies at making homemade soaps, oils and butters so we are still figuring out all the things we can make with this. It comes with A LOT! The expiration date isn’t until 2025 so we have a while to use this. It comes double vacuum sealed! It took awhile to open the plastic. I think this is worth the 99.00 price tag. This will go a long way. I actually cut a chunk out to use on my lips then my feet and they were so moisturized just by using this plain. With nothing else mixed into it. It melts at 90 degrees so just rubbing it on your body will melt it. No need to add heat unless mixing up a batch to make whatever you plan on using.

Product arrived as described. Comes as two very large square bricks of unrefined butter. Best way to use is to melt down using the stove and you can add other oils and fragrances. Applies smoothly and is an overall great value.

This came in one big block. I love that it's raw and unbleached. It was easy to filter it, and I didn't have much come out of it. It's very good quality. It's a good price for how much you get.

When I saw this product on offer, I knew I had to add it to my creative collection. The Kokum Butter is easy to use and melt. If you watch the video, you can see how easily it breaks/cuts for melting and mixing. I like the fact that it comes in an 11.lb block because one can make many items from it. Since I love to create, I included some creations made with the Kokum Butter Block. The photos show a piece from the larger block, shaved butter ready for melting, and finished products to inspire the creation of more beautiful things. The butter is great for cream and whipped products. If I could give more than five stars for this product, I would.

This is an excellent butter to use in all of your homemade skin and haircare products. If you aren't up for making your own, it's also excellent to use on it's on. Safe enough for all skin types and is even safe to use in any sort of lip balm or lipstick that you might choose to make. Natural and organic. A lot like shea butter, but it's its own plant based product. Raw and unrefined so that you won't have to deal with any sort of additives. It has a natural scent that isn't strong. You'll smell it a little as you use it, but it's not going to stick with you. To my nose, it smells as though someone took a handful of peanuts and a big bunch of some sort of leafy green such as kale and put them in a blender. Then puréed it all. Obviously, that's not at all what this is. It just has that kind of a smell to me. If you prefer, you can add your favorite essential oils to this to scent it up a bit. This is a gigantic block of Kokum butter that is in a solid form. You will need to soften it to use. During the summer months, I like to let it sit out in the sun for a few hours to naturally soften it up. Then slice off what I need. A hot knife would help also. If you can't do that, or it's wintertime, use a hot knife and something like a wax warmer to soften it up. Or maybe take a small pan, put in some of this butter, then place in a larger pot of water and heat on the stove. You don't need to liquify this. Just get it soft enough to easily mix and blend with what it is you want to put this in. Or as noted above, use on it's own.Can be used over the entire body, including along the lips and in the hair. I love to use this straight right on my legs and arms for an extra rich and conditioning moisturizer.

I’ve never used kokum butter before. I read about it, and it sounded intriguing. From what I read, I expected it to have nearly no scent. To me it smells a bit like hazelnut. Maybe in a more filtered form it would lose the scent? This is totally solid at room temperature. It arrived during a heat wave in my coastal town, so room temperature was a relatively warm 80 degrees. It does not melt or even soften at all in the microwave. Just as an experiment I put some in a dish and put that dish and a mug of water into the microwave. After about a minute, the water was boiling but the kokum butter had not softened at all. I was able to melt it by setting the dish of kokum butter into a bowl of boiling water. Then it turned into a runny, amber colored oil. In my hand it softens and is quite nice as a hand cream. When softened well, it’s nice with a drop or two of essential oil. I tried some in my hair, only on the ends. It seemed to moisturize well without making my hair look greasy. I haven’t filtered it yet so I haven’t tried it ion my face. Honestly, it doesn’t seem to have a lot in the way of particulates, but there are some. I think melting and pouring through cheesecloth will work well for filtering. If mixed with an oil or a butter that is soft at room temperature it should remain softer. As it is, once it cools it returns to solid. I’m glad I got this. I’m having fun experimenting with it. It’s a bit difficult to use as a body lotion in its pure form. A bit for the hands doesn’t take too long to become soft enough to rub in though. It’s very moisturizing.
Just A Narwhal
When i read the description, i expected chunks, of stinky butter, with inclusions, and nasty bits floating around in it, but when i opened the very well packed box, there is one MIGHTY solid hunk of butter. It’s triple wrapped in plastic, and hard to get into. That’s a good thing. The expiration date is 2025, which is a good 2 years. When i eventually get into it, the smell is pleasantly vegetal, and earthy, not funky, or nasty whatsoever. Also i see from my initial inspection, no seeds, husks, or inclusions. Maybe they will become apparent when i melt some, and rapidly cool it, to temper the butter. But thus far, I am super happy with this.I have previously bought Kokum butter, though not in such a large quantity as this one, I use it in my soap, cuticle balm, and in-shower body butter, and find it very moisturising. It’s also non comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores)I put it on a large chopping board, and chopped chunks off to melt. Each cut slice was smooth and unblemished and I didn't see any seeds, husks, dirt or grit. I melted it, and strained it, and there was nothing in my strainer. After tempering the butter which helps to eliminate any graininess, i cooled it in the fridge, and the MOST curious thing happens. On the surface of my bowl, the previously flat, smooth unblemished pool of melted Kokum butter has cooled into CRAZY waves and whirls, almost like it’s been piped through a piping bag. It’s the strangest thing. Anyway, then i cut up the finished product into more manageable sized chunks, which are easier to weigh for recipes. This kokum butter is very good quality indeed, and I'm excited to incorporate it into my next batch of soap, body butter or cuticle balm, whichever comes 1st. kokum butter is best used in the summer when I want a less heavy moisturizer. However

This is a lot of kokum butter to work with. Since I was previously unfamiliar with this butter, it has taken a bit of getting used to. First, it is a solid, but it melts against skin. I shaved a bit into my hand (doesn't cut into neat cubes), and when I rubbed my palms together, it stuck into larger clumps. It also left a layer of the butter on my skin that caused water to head up and roll off when my hands were rinsed. It is unrefined, and it smells a bit like sunflower seeds that have not been roasted. I am looking forward to using this in my skin care products!

Proud ambassador! This product is a miracle! So glad I tried the free set.

I absolutely love this Kokum butter. However, I would like to provide a word of caution: Kokum butter is solid at room temperature, so you need to scrape it and rub it on your hands to make it easier to apply, or heat it slightly to soften or melt it completely. Despite the extra effort, this butter leaves my very dry skin feeling soft and hydrated after use, making it well worth it.

Like many, I was chosen as an ambassador. The very first sample has convinced me to switch to this brand permanently.

The free sample set was as per the brief! Already bought the 5 kilogram variant.

My sampler box had this actual raw butter! I'll never go back to my old butter. That one was clearly refined..

Wow, this product exceeded my expectations! Ambassador here, got the free sampler box of 500 grams.

Very good raw and unrefined butter. One of the best I have ever used.

The product has an unexpected rancid smell.

It's thick and buttery and stays solid through high temperature regimes. Perfect for formulating DIY skin products in warm tropical regions.

When you make body butter it's becoming soft and not oily. Very nourishing for the skin.

This is a fantastic product made from pure Kokum Butter. Kokum Butter, which originates in India, is an underutilized product with numerous benefits unknown to many. To achieve the best results, warm it slightly and massage it into your skin. It effectively healed my dry and cracked heels, making it a great overall moisturizer. As a pure, organic, and natural product, it does not cause any skin allergies, and it can be safely used on the face. I no longer buy commercial moisturizers as this product outperforms them all. One block of Kokum Butter is quite large, lasting 6 to 12 months, depending on usage. It's an excellent raw material for making your own homemade moisturizer, and I have also used it to make my own lip balm with essential oils. In conclusion, this is a great product and offers great value for money.

It's a soft butter. You can melt it by rubbing it between your palms. It's very easy to use and the packaging is very good.

Oh and lovely new package. Had a chat with their team on their hotline. This is the same product as Keynote Kokum butter, but they are now expanding their entire cosmetic range under this new brand of Etherva. I was a bit hesitant to buy it because it is discounted, but realized it's the same product in a recycled package, which is actually pretty.

Heard about this miraculous cure for cracked heels from a friend of mine and decided to try it out. Applied a layer of Kokum butter on my heels for a week and like magic, they fully healed. The only problem is that I have a block of butter left and I'm thinking of gifting it to my friends who have the same issue.

Fantastic all natural moisturizer, from the same firm I used to buy from before which is Keynote. Absolutely gorgeous eco-packaging and even more eco, organic and natural butter inside. I make body butters and I can't think of any other base.
Mona
Great product! I wanted to make a DIY body butter, so I ordered the product. It arrived in its raw form with a slight hint of odor. My body butter turned out great.
